Micheal Pavone
Chief Pavone has over 30 years of fire service experience. He came to the District in 2019 after serving previously for 17 years with Porterville Fire and 12 years with Tulare County Fire. He holds the California Chief Fire Officer certification, hazmat specialist certification, and is a qualified Strike Team and Task Force Leader. Chief Pavone has been charged with oversight of fleet maintenance and apparatus, respiratory protection and personal protective equipment and is assigned the following administrative responsibilities:
- Standards of Cover and Risk Assessment
- Station/Facilities Management (work orders/inspections/repairs)
- Fire Station Management, Logs, Supplies, and Reports
- Policy and Procedure Review (LEXIPOL Working Group)
- Apparatus Committee
- Uniform and PPE Committee
- Behavioral Health Liaison
o Peer Support Team - Sick Leave Review
- Fleet Maint. and Repair: Vehicles and Apparatus (Pump Testing/Inventory/maintenance schedule)
- Rope Rescue Cadre Lead
- Respiratory Protection Program
- PPE inspection, cleaning, and repair
