I served 5 years in the Marine Corps due to my desire to serve my country. While serving, I developed my teamwork and leadership skills and discovered my passion for physical fitness. At the end of my enlistment, I knew I wanted to be a firefighter and I pursued a degree in Fire Technology. I currently live in Madera, CA with the love of my life and our 2 four-legged children. I am here to help and am always eager to learn.

I grew up in the Central Valley and went to Clovis High School, from there I went to Sacramento State University to play baseball. After that I moved to San Diego to finish schooling and get my Real Estate License where I actively practiced real estate and sold property throughout California. I decided I wanted to serve my community in a more direct way and went down the path to become a fireman. I have a great sense of pride and honor in protecting my community and helping others that may be in need.

My name is Cole Emerzian & I was born and raised in Fresno, California. I grew up in a big family, constantly busy playing sports & spending time with friends. Prior to beginning my journey with North Central Fire, you could find me on the west side of the valley helping manage ranches for Red Rooster tomatoes. Since I was young, I knew that helping others was my passion. Now getting to work at North Central as a fireman, I know that I will fulfill that passion daily.

Hello, my name is Gunnar Tapp.  I’m 21 years old and I was born and raised in Clovis, California with my two younger brothers. I’ve played the trumpet since elementary school and as a hobby have since learned as many instruments as I could get my hands on. But most of all I enjoy helping others and in the end this is what lead me to the fire service. There is nothing quite like having the opportunity to give myself in service to others both in and out of work.

My name is Ty Mulhern and I am 28 years old. I have lived in Fresno/Clovis my entire life and have a German shepherd named Addy that usually tags along with me everywhere I go. Snowboarding and watching sports are just a few things I enjoy doing. Growing up with a grandpa in the fire service and being submerged into the culture is what inspired me to pursue a career in the fire service.

I know that throughout my career I will always have someone to turn to for questions in life, questions about the fire service, and a good laugh.
